‘Tis the season of consumption! Special days like Thanksgiving and Christmas are opportunities for us to connect with friends and family, show gratitude and get much needed rest. But like us, I’m sure you’ve noticed that our consumer-driven society has taken over.
Did you know that Americans produce 25% more waste between Thanksgiving and New Year than they do the rest of the year?
We need to find a balance between enjoying our special days without getting sucked into overconsuming.
